Flights
Dubrovnik airport is a two-hour drive from Villa Philomena, and Split airport is a four-hour drive. In the height of the season it can sometimes take longer.
If driving from Split, a 30-minute car ferry runs between Ploce (on the mainland) and Trpanj (30mins drive from Villa Philomena) - seven times daily. For times see: www.jadrolinija.hr/pdfs/en.633.pdf.

Flight and Ferry
Ryanair: www.ryanair.co.uk. You can fly to Italy and take a Jadrolinja ferry from there (see below).
Viamare Travel is an agent for Jadronlinja ferries from Italy to Croatia, and within Croatia: www.viamare.com 0044 (0)8704 106040. Also see www.jadrolinja.hr.
You can fly to Bari and take an overnight ferry to Korcula via Dubrovnik, or fly to Ancona and take a ferry to Split.
Local Ferries

There is a passenger ferry twice a day between Viganj and Korcula. This takes 15 minutes.
There are regular ferries between Korcula and Orebic, taking 15 minutes and carrying cars and foot passengers.
There is also the car/passenger ferry between Ploce and Trpanj (see above).
It's not possible to reserve tickets on local ferries, so in the height of the season you need to arrive around 45mins before departure.

Car Hire
To make the most of your visit we recommend that you hire a car. All the big car-hire companies have desks at Dubrovnik and Split airports. We will provide you with driving directions upon booking.

Mercis is another option www.mercis.hr/onama_eng.htm. They have a very helpful contact called Sanja, based in Korcula.
